Bright Beginnings Preschool
Bright Beginnings is our Ohio Valley ESC preschool program for children (ages 3 to 5) in all the communities we serve.
We offer preschool services in many different areas:
- Center/Socialization classes
- Home visits
- Teacher visits
- Speech, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Psychological Services, and Nursing
Tuition options include private pay, access to the Tuition Assistance Program and the Early Childhood Education Grant (pending age, income eligibility and district eligibility).
Sliding Fee Scale
Children of families with an income below the 200 percent of the federal poverty level can attend based on a sliding fee scale.
If at anytime the child is suspected of having a disability, parental consent is obtained and a play-based screening is conducted by our qualified specialists. The screening will indicate if further testing is needed in the following areas:
- Large and small muscle movement
- Getting along with others
- Taking care of one’s own needs
- Thinking and problem solving
If your child qualifies for services in any of these areas, they may receive special education services provided by the Bright Beginnings Preschool staff. There is limited space available for children who do not qualify for services that may attend on a tuition basis. If necessary, tuition assistance programs are available for those that qualify.
