Title IX Non-Discrimination Policy

The Federal Title IX Rule Requires Schools to Post on their Websites:

 

The contact information for the school’s Title IX coordinator(s);

The school’s non-discrimination policy; and

Training materials used to train the school’s Title IX personnel.

 

The Governing Board of the Ohio Valley Educational Service Center does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its education program or activity and is required by Title IX and its implementing regulations not to discriminate in such a manner. The requirement not to discriminate in its education program or activity extends to admission and employment. the Ohio Valley ESC’s Title IX Coordinators are:

OVESC Policy 1266 – Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Sex in Education Programs or Activities

A formal complaint may be filed with the Title IX Coordinator in person, by mail, or by electronic mail, by using the contact information set forth above. It is a violation of the Ohio Valley ESC’s policy to file a false Formal Complaint, make a false statement, or submit false information.
